The concept of goodness of geodetic observations restated in view of the requirements of studies of recent crustal movements

The estimation of recent crustal movements from repeated geodetic observations is somewhat hampered by an apprehension of the uncertainties involved in the estimation of the standard errors of the observations and by the lack of correlation between the actual errors in networks and the theoretical estimates of these errors. It is here shown that a more reliable evaluation of the quality of the observations may be reached through a factor analysis of several statistical parameters. The suggested procedure is tentatively applied to some published data and a scheme aiming at a generalized treatment is proposed.     

Combination of precise observations of the orientation of the Earth

Summary The procedure for computing Earth orientation parameters (EOPs) implemented by the Subbureau for Rapid Service and Prediction of the International Earth Rotational Service (IERS) is described. This scheme involves the use of weighted cubic splines and provides smoothing of observations consistent with the agreement between contributed data sets.

Spatio-temporal study of open spaces of part of Jaipur City-Rajasthan

Open spaces in a city which includes parks, playgrounds, gardens, greenaries agricultural fields and other vacant land, are decreasing very fast. They are being utilised to provide the new space for growing population of the city. Certain amount of open spaces in the city as well as at the out skirt of the city is necessary for healthy breathing and for various civic facilities to the city dwellers and to maintain the ecological balance in the city. Spatio-Temporal study of open spaces shows the trend of growth of the city as well as social changes and economic development of the city dwellers which helps the planners and administrators to exercise better planning and environmental control on the city. This paper intended to describe how and upto what extent the use of Remote Sensing techniques (Air Photos) could be made for extracting information for analysis of the open spaces and their densification. This has been explained with reference to a case study undertaken by author for part of Jaipur City (Rajasthan).

基于分块模型改进的SIFT算子的无人机影像匹配方法研究

通过深入的研究,充分理解SIFT算法的理论知识,基于VC++6.0平台编程实现SIFT算法。使用贵州省安顺机场无人机影像进行实例验证,结合主流已发布的SIFT算子与时间、空间复杂度来评价和改进算法。采用影像分块的策略,并且,使用了多进程、多线程思想,优化了原本的SIFT算子,解决了原先严重的耗时性,从影像匹配的精度和速度上都有所改进。自动匹配算法的不断改进使航空影像的图像自动匹配成为了可能。

影响InSAR测高精度因素的相关性分析

从基线沿水平向分解和沿视线向分解的InSAR基本原理出发，分析讨论了InSAR高度测量的精度，详细给出了分解时的斜距、基线、相位以及高度等量的误差之间互不影响和相互影响下时目标高度精度的影响公式。从公式表迭可以看出，这些量独立时对目标高度精度的影响是不独立时的特殊情况。
