Abstract:The city is a big city in north China,Qiligou basin is one of the three chief karst water supply resources,which guarantees more than 200 thousand people in the south city of the production and living water.This karst aquifer was found that has been polluted by carbon tetrachloride in November of 2000.Through analysis of the monitoring data in the studied area,conduced to establishing the hydro-geological conceptual model and the groundwater flow model that was computed by using FEFLOW(Finite Element subsurface Flow system) software,the solute transport simulation based on the current model,to simulate the groundwater pollution concentration of carbon tetrachloride,and forecast the future changes in the concentration field. The results indicated that the carbon tetrachloride contamination plume presented a degrading trend in the whole area,especially in the north and south part,but in the central part it is not obvious;in process of time,the attenuation extent of carbon tetrachloride plume is declining.These studies provided technical supports to the regional pollution treatment under the similar circumstances in the future.
