| Abstract: | Flounder culture has experienced rapid development all over the world during the last ten years. This paper reviews the reproduction and its mechanism of regulation-controlling of flounder in captivity, including ovarian development of female the and its inducted reproduction by the hormone and photothermal regimes, testis development of the male and its regulation-controlling by hormone and photothermal regimes, gonadal sex determined by temperature and identification of the sex ratios by ultrasonography. |
