Computational study of self‐centering buckling‐restrained braced frame seismic performance 下载免费PDF全文
Recent research developed and experimentally validated a self‐centering buckling‐restrained brace (SC‐BRB) that employs a restoring mechanism created using concentric tubes held flush with pretensioned shape memory alloy rods, in conjunction with a buckling‐restrained brace (BRB) that dissipates seismic energy. The present computational study investigated how the SC‐BRB can be implemented in real buildings to improve seismic performance. First, a computational brace model was developed and calibrated against experimental data, including the definition of a new cyclic material model for superelastic NiTi shape memory alloy. A parametric study were then conducted to explore the design space for SC‐BRBs. Finally, a set of prototype buildings was designed and computationally subjected to a suite of ground motions. The effect of the lateral resistance of gravity framing on self‐centering was also examined. From the component study, the SC‐BRB was found to dissipate sufficient energy even with large self‐centering ratios (as large as 4) based on criteria found in the literature for limiting peak drifts. From the prototype building study, a SC‐BRB self‐centering ratio of 0.5 was capable of reliably limiting residual drifts to negligible values, which is consistent with a dynamic form of self‐centering discussed in the literature. Because large self‐centering ratios can create significant overstrength, the most efficient SC‐BRB frame designs had a self‐centering ratio in the range of 0.5–1.5. Forced vibration field tests and finite-element studies were conducted on the Shahid Rajaee concrete arch dam in Northern Iran to determine the dynamic properties of the dam–reservoir–foundation system. The first forced vibration tests on the dam were performed with two different types of exciter units, with a limited maximum force, bolted on the dam crest for alternative in-phase and out-of-phase sequencing. Because of an insufficient number of recording sensors, two arrangements of sensors were used to cover sufficient points on the dam crest and one gallery during tests. Two kinds of vibration tests, on–off and frequency sweeping, were carried out on the dam. The primary natural frequencies of the coupled system for both symmetric and anti-symmetric vibration modes were approximated during on–off tests in two types of sequencing of exciters, in phase and out-of-phase, with a maximum frequency of 14 Hz. The principal forced vibration tests were performed at precise resonant frequencies based on the results of the on–off tests in which sweeping around the approximated frequencies at 0.1 Hz increments was performed. Baseline correction and suitable bandpass filtering were applied to the test records and then signal processing was carried out to compute the auto power, cross power and coherence spectra. Nine middle modes of vibration of the coupled system and corresponding damping ratios were estimated. The empirical results are compared against the results from calibrated finite-element modeling of the system using former ambient vibration tests, considering the dam–reservoir–foundation interaction effects. The fabric anisotropy of a granular soil deposit can strongly infl uence its engineering properties and behavior. This paper presents the results of a novel experimental study designed to examine the effects of fabric anisotropy on smallstrain stiffness and its evolution with loading on the elastic shear modulus of granular materials under a K0 condition. Two primary categories of fabric anisotropy, i.e., deposition-induced and particle shape-induced, are investigated. Toyoura sand deposits with relative densities of 40% and 80% were prepared using deposition angles oriented at 0o and 90o. Piezoelectric transducers were used to obtain the elastic shear modulus in the vertical and horizontal directions(Gvh and Ghh). The measurements indicate distinct differences in the values of G with respect to the different deposition angles. Particle shapeinduced fabric anisotropy was examined using four selected sands. It was concluded that sphericity is a controlling factor dominating the small-strain stiffness of granular materials. The degree of fabric anisotropy proves to be a good indicatorin the characterization of stress-induced fabric evolution during loading and unloading stress cycles. The experimental data were used to calibrate an existing micromechanical model, which was able to represent the behavior of the granular material and the degree of fabric anisotropy reasonably well. 相似文献

建立了求解多裂纹扩展的扩展有限元法。引入裂纹交叉汇合加强函数以分析多裂纹交叉汇合过程;在裂纹附近区域使用广义形函数,并引入线增函数消除混合单元,可有效地提高裂纹附近的精度;用砂浆法(线段-线段接触法)结合增广型Lagrange乘子法处理裂纹段的接触条件,可以精确地模拟裂纹面约束,并方便地求解控制方程。算例分析了两方面内容:(1)计算交叉裂纹体的应力强度因子,结果表明提出的方法精度高;(2)模拟多裂纹扩展及交叉汇合过程,模拟的裂纹扩展路径与试验结果吻合得较好,表明了方法的可靠性。 相似文献

阵列式位移计(SAA)是一种基于微电子机械系统测试原理的测试加速度和位移的传感器,该方法具有精度高、可重复利用、自动实时采集等特点。介绍了SAA测试技术首次在成层土中桩基与复合桩基大型振动台模型试验中的应用,研究了桩基、复合地基及模型地基土体系的地震位移响应。试验结果表明:SAA可全面、直观地测试桩体及土体在地震动荷载下的加速度以及变形反应规律;测试数据发现小震作用下,地基土与桩身位移协调;随地震作用加大,地基土与桩身位移差异增大;地基土中软土夹层的存在对地基土的水平位移影响较大。 相似文献

通过6种典型堆石块体的形状近似,分别采用两种接触本构模型建立了多块体形状堆石体离散元数值模型,研究堆石体在碾压荷载作用下的颗粒破碎过程,建立颗粒破碎的量化计算方法,分析碾压前、后堆石级配曲线的变化,讨论接触本构模型和颗粒形状对块体破碎的影响。模拟结果显示,碾压荷载下堆石颗粒以张拉破碎为主,随着碾压遍数的增加,局部开始出现剪切破碎;提出的颗粒破碎量化计算方法,在大粒径范围对粒径变化幅度预测偏大,但级配曲线整体趋势与实测结果比较吻合;相比较于接触连接模型,平行连接模型与现场碾压试验结果更接近。6种块体形状的数值结果显示,随着形状系数的增加,在其他条件不变的情况下颗粒破碎率逐渐降低,其中类长方形块体在碾压荷载作用下颗粒破碎最明显。相比较于纯圆颗粒或者单一非圆颗粒,采用的6种颗粒形状建立的堆石体振动碾压离散元模型,更接近现场实际情况。 相似文献

Status assessment of exploited fish populations is a general requirement to ensure sustainability of fisheries in both global and local contexts. The blue jack mackerel Trachurus picturatus (Bowdich, 1825) remains unassessed in a data-limited fishery in the eastern central Atlantic, within the waters of the Canary Islands (Spain) off the coast of northwest Africa. This is the most southwestern targeted fishery in the species’ distributional range. To obtain basic life-history information, a total of 2 472 specimens were analysed, ranging from 10.2 to 31.9 cm total length, from samples collected monthly between March 2005 and March 2006. Length–weight relationships (a = 0.0023; b = 3.418; R 2 = 0.97) showed no significant difference between sexes. Deposition periodicity and coherence of the ageing criteria were verified by analysis of the monthly evolution of the otolith edge. Ages were estimated by counting annual growth rings on whole otoliths, with these fish ranging from age 0 to 6 years. The von Bertalanffy growth model, which was used to estimate growth parameters from both direct readings and back-calculated length-at-age data, gave good statistical fits. The parameters from the direct readings were: L∞ = 34.9 cm; k = 0.214 y–1; t 0 = ?2.545 y (R 2 = 0.84), and the natural mortality rates estimated from empirical methods varied between 0.20 and 0.55 y–1. 相似文献

由于在抗拔承载力和深水安装中的优势,拖曳锚在深水系泊系统中具有良好的发展前景。在拖曳锚安装过程中,安装缆绳和锚之间存在复杂的相互作用,安装缆绳在海床土中的反悬链形态将直接影响锚的嵌入和运动,对反悬链形态的研究有助于提高锚的嵌入性能、准确预测锚的运动轨迹以及解决锚在安装中的精确定位问题。基于嵌入缆单元在海床土中的力学模型,推导出适用于黏性土和无黏性土的反悬链方程,利用该方程可求出安装缆绳在海床土中的反悬链形态;通过在缆绳上布置倾角传感器并运用圆弧递推方法,设计出可实时测量嵌入缆形态的试验技术,为验证试验技术的合理性,在空气中分别选取3种典型缆绳形态进行模拟,结果表明:模拟形态与真实形态吻合良好,并具有较高精度;利用实时测量技术开展模型试验,对反悬链方程进行了考察,验证了其模拟嵌入缆反悬链形态的精度,并获取了对拖曳锚安装过程中反悬链形态变化规律的直观认识。 相似文献

通过对单一边界、双边界、多边界以及点(线)质量模型重力异常解析信号振幅和重力异常垂向导数解析信号振幅的极值位置空间变化规律研究表明,重力异常垂向导数解析信号振幅和化极磁力异常解析信号振幅的极值位置相同,且与重力异常解析信号振幅的极值位置空间变化规律相似.利用位场解析信号振幅极大值位置能够准确识别单一直立边界地质体的边缘位置,但不能准确识别其它任何形体的边缘位置,其识别结果的偏移量大小随地质体的埋深、水平尺寸以及倾斜程度等变化.虽然重力异常垂向导数解析信号振幅比重力异常解析信号振幅的峰值更加尖锐、横向识别能力更强,其极大值位置更靠近地质体上顶面边缘位置,但均受地质体埋深的影响较大;随着埋深的增加,位场解析信号振幅的极大值位置会快速收敛到形体的"中心位置",其轨迹类似"叉子状";且对多边界模型会出现"极大值位置盲区"而无法识别其边缘位置.通过这些理论研究表明,位场解析信号振幅只能识别单一边界地质体的边缘位置;而不宜用来识别多边界地质体的边缘位置,但可以用来识别多边界地质体的"中心位置". 相似文献
