在对恒星形成区(SFR)中ROSAT选弱发射线TTauri星(WTTS)进行光谱证认的过程中,发展了一套基于北京天文台2.16米光学望远镜及其OMR卡焦光谱仪系统的晚型星中色散(50A/mm)光谱计算机自动光谱分类方法.对ROSAT选WTTS候选作中晚型星进行自动光谱分类的结果表明,一般情况下,光谱型的分类精度可达±1个次级,个别源为±2个次级.该自动光谱分类方法同时适用于其他光谱晚型星.  相似文献

给出恒星形成区GGD12-15的宽波段JHK和窄波段H2v=1-0S(1)近红外成像观测.观测图像揭示了致密的年轻红外星团和与红外源成协的红外星云,并发现了以H2发射结表征的星团外流活动.大多数红外点源在光学波段不可见;对76颗红外点源的JHK′测光结果显示,有32颗具有红外超,其中5颗表现原恒星特征,表明分子云中的恒星形成活动很活跃.以B8光谱型作为大质量星分界,由色星等图估计出大质量星所占星团比例为-10%~26%.GGD12—15星团的K′星等分布的峰值位于15.0mag,并在13.0mag-16.0mag平坦分布;[H—K′]色分布的峰值出现在-0.7mag,在此以上更红的星团成分占70%.在GGD12-15区新发现的氢分子发射结集中在星团中心领域,其空间分布明显与剧烈的恒星形成活动相关;有5个发射结位于分子外流的中心区域,暗示其激发可能与分子外流同源.  相似文献

本文从IRAS点源星表(PSC)中选择了一批流量只F100μ≥500Jy,且属于正在形成或早期演化阶段的强远红外源,利用北京天文台兴隆观测站的1.26m红外望远镜,对这批源进行了J、H、K波段的近红外观测,得到了12个源的第一次J、H、K测光资料.结合外台站的红外观测资料和IRAS点源星表数据,我们对强远红外源的红外发射进行了修正的黑体光球模型、双壳层尘埃发射模型以及详细的辐射转移等模型的拟合,得到了这些源的一系列重要的物理参量,如中心星的等效光球温度,近红外消光以及包层的尘埃温度和密度随半径变化的幂律等.本文利用红外导出的中心星光球温度和光度,得到了与这些强远红外源成协的大质量年轻天体在赫罗图上的位置和演化特征.我们发现,对质量一定的大质量年轻星,沿着向主序演化的方向,红外谱在12μ-60μ间的斜率S有逐渐增大的趋势;而对演化到同一时间线的星,随着质量的增大,S也有增大的趋势.本文分析了这一性质.并提出了利用红外资料研究赫罗图的方法,它是一种研究深埋于分子云和尘埃包层的大质量年轻星早期演化的有效方法.  相似文献

给出红外点源IRAS 20231 3440附近恒星形成区近红外.JHK’和H2成像观测结果,以及与该IRAS点源成协的近红外点源IRS1的K波段分光观测结果..JHK’观测显示该区域存在嵌埋的年轻星天体,H2窄波段观测揭示了若干个氢分子发射结点,其中有几个结点排列成线形,暗示分子氢喷流的存在.喷流的北部与已知观测的分子外流成协,表明二者之间存在联系.喷流的走向提示IRS1可能是其激发源,对IRS1的K波段分光观测给出了进一步的证据.从近红外、MSX及IRAS资料估计出IRS1的能谱分布,表明它是一个处于ClassI状态的中等质量的年轻星天体.  相似文献

对Be/X射线双星LSI+65°010/2S0114+65连续四年(1992—1995年)的光学光谱观测发现,在1992年11月它的Ha发射线等值宽度在4天内从-0.43A增至-1.48A,增加了约3.5倍.此剧烈变化支持LSI+65°10的光学子星是一颗Be星而非超巨星的论点.我们的观测还发现,1994年9月它的Ha发射线轮廓呈明显的双峰结构,但与普通Be星中由于旋转气壳而形成的双峰不同,其红峰处于Ha理论波长附近,紫峰却紫移了7.2A.我们认为此双峰可能产生在LSI+65°010的不同HⅡ区中,即红峰产生于Be星周围的气壳内,而紫峰很可能产生于在轨道上快速运动的中子星周围的HⅡ区中,此观测可能提供了中子星周围存在HⅡ区的证据.同样,我们认为1992年11月4日观测到的Ha发射线红翼几乎不变,紫翼却大幅增加的现象也是由于中子星周围的HⅡ区造成的.  相似文献

反常X射线脉冲星(Anomalous X-ra Pulsars,简称AXP)是一类特殊的X射线源。与X射线脉冲星(通常处于大质量X射线双星系统中)相比,它们具有以下特征:X射线谱较软、光度低页稳定(≈10^27-10^29J.s^-1)、自转周期集中在10s左右稳定增长、迄今没有找到它们的光学、红外、射电的对应体、有一些可能戌超新星遗迹成协等。由观测到的自转周期变化可以确定它们的自转能损不足以提供有X射线辐射。解释AXP能源机制的理论模型目前主要有两大类:在吸积模型中,AXP被认为具有正常磁场强度(≈10^8T)的中子量,物质吸积提供X射线辐射原能源,并造成中子星的自转变化;另一种观点认为AXP是具有超强磁场(≈10^10-10^11T)的中子量(即磁星),其辐射能源来自它们巨大的磁或残余的热能,观测到的自转周期及其变化被归因子中子星的磁偶极辐射和物质抛射。两种模型各有优缺点,但目前看来观测事实对磁星模型较为有利。为了进一步明确AXP的性质,提供解释它们能源机制的线索,在介绍AXP的基本观测特征和理论解释的基础上,还将AXP与射电脉冲星、特强磁场射电脉冲量、射电宁静脉冲星侯选体及软γ射线复现源分别进行了比较。  相似文献

本文发表的是用北京天文台60厘米施密特望远镜进行发射线星系物端棱镜巡天结果的第四篇文章。文中的表1包括100个发射线天体,其中的96个是发射线星系;其余的对象有3个行星状星云,1个发射线星。在这些发射线星系中,属于s,sd型的有69个,d,ds型的有27个,分别占72%和28%。除了4个已知的Seyfert星系之外,至少还有5个也可能是Seyfert星系。这些发射线天体中的23个是IRAS源,它们都与具有强发射的现象相联系.  相似文献

应用国家天文台兴隆观测基地2.16 m望远镜及其高色散光谱仪,对6颗弱发射线T Tauri型星(Weak-line T Tauri Stars,简称WTTS)进行了高色散光谱观测,计算了这些弱发射线T Tauri型星的锂元素丰度,讨论了这些弱发射线TTauri型星锂丰度和恒星自转周期、光变幅度的关系,研究发现:自转较快的弱发射线T Tauri型星锂丰度小于自转较慢的弱发射线T Tauri型星锂丰度;但是这些弱发射线TTauri型星,其锂丰度与恒星在V波段的光变幅度并没有明显的相关性.  相似文献

给出了1997年4月15日至17日在北京天文台用2.16m望远镜卡焦光谱仪观测获得的6颗激变变星(ABBoo;UXUMa,TCrBAHHer,ZCam和V426Oph)及3颗相关天体(UMa3,EGUMa和Leo3)的CCD光谱,并同时拍摄了5颗晚型星(3Dra,Vir,Leo,34Boo和36Corn)的CCD光谱,作为晚型星参考谱.测量了观测样本星的Hα和近红外CaII的三重线(8498,8542和8662)的等值宽度(EW),谱线半极大全宽(FWHM)和现向速度(Vr),并分析了这些星的活动性.  相似文献

从ROSAT巡天和定点观测结果的对比出发,发现了几个低银纬的巡天源表中的X射线源在定点观测中没有出现.本文计算了在这些位置的定点观测中出现点源的流强上限,发现比巡天源表中这些源的流强值低很多,这表明它们的流强变化很大,可能是X射线双星系统中的一类———X射线暂现源.  相似文献

We report on the results of cross-correlation of a sample of 903 Utraluminous IRAS galaxies (ULIRGs) with the ROSAT-All Sky Survey Bright Source Catalogue and the ROSAT archived pointing observations. The sample of ULIRGs has been compiled from the recently released PSCz redshift survey. In total,35 ULIRGs are securely detected by the ROSAT All-Sky Survey and pointing observations, five of which are blazars. The statistical properties of these sources in the soft X-ray band are determined and compared with their properties on other wavebands. We find that the ratio of the soft X-ray to the far-infrared flux spans about five orders of magnitude and reaches values of about unity. This ratio is a good indicator of the main energy source of ULIRGs. Those with soft X-ray to far-infrared flux exceeding 0.01 are probably powered by accretion onto central supermassive black holes while those with ratios smaller than 0.001 are probably powered by starbursts or other heating processes, or are Compton thick sources. Some ULIRGs have energy contributions from both. This ratio is low for most ULIRGs and hyperluminous infrared galaxies, which explains their low detection rate by ROSAT and ASCA.We also find that some ULIRGs have a similar soft X-ray luminosity vs. temperature relation to that for groups of galaxies and elliptical galaxies,suggesting a common origin of these systems. Our study also reveals a tight correlation between the hardness ratio and the soft X-ray luminosity for Seyfert 1s/QSOs.  相似文献

We have analyzed homogeneous long-term photometric observations of 28 well-known weakline T Tauri stars (WTTS) and 60 WTTS candidates detected by the ROSAT observatory toward the Taurus-Auriga star-forming region. We show that 22 known WTTS and 39 WTTS candidates exhibit periodic light variations that are attributable to the phenomenon of spotted rotational modulation. The rotation periods of these spotted stars lie within the range from 0.5 to 10 days. Significant differences between the long-term photometric behaviors of known WTTS and WTTS candidates have been found. We have calculated accurate luminosities, radii, masses, and ages for 74 stars. About 33% of the sample of WTTS candidates have ages younger than 10 Myr. The mean distance to 24 WTTS candidates with reliable estimates of their radii is shown to be 143 ± 26 pc. This is in excellent agreement with the adopted distance to the Taurus-Auriga star-forming region.  相似文献

Astrometric study of the T Tauri stars (TTS) candidates and non-TTS X-ray sources around Tau-Aur [Li, Hu 132 (1998) 173], based on the Hipparcos and the ACT Reference Catalogue, is presented in this paper. The ROSAT selected X-ray sources are found to have complicated nature. A few of them are associated with the Tau-Aur or the Orion Star Forming Regions (SFR). Some, with distances similar to that of Tau-Aur but indicating discrepant proper motions, are probable or solid Pleiades supercluster members and other late type young active stars of unresolved nature, the latter are more likely formed in rapidly moving cloudlets, or else have originated from different sites rather than Tau-Aur and dispersed to the present locations. A number of the non-TTS X-ray sources studied are possible Hyades cluster members. Some TTS candidates could be foreground pre-main sequence stars or actually young dwarfs not yet depleted their Lithium.Under the hypothesis that the sources studied are representative of the ROSAT selected TTS candidates discovered in the outskirts of the Tau-Aur region, we conclude that only up to one thirds of the WTTS candidates could be expected to be physically associated with the Tau-Aur association. Along with the parallax and proper motion analysis of the non-TTS X-ray sources around the Tau-Aur SFR, our study suggests that the most majority of the young active X-ray sources, within an angular diameter of about 30 toward the Tau-Aur SFR, are spatially belonging to mainly 4 different subgroups according to the apparent discordance of their distances and/or proper motions.  相似文献

The study of star forming regions (SFR) allows us to observe many young stellar objects with both the same metallicities and distances but with different masses. Because of its close distance ( 140pc) Taurus-Auriga is one of the best studied SFR with more than 100 well-studied, low-mass, pre-main sequence stars, T Tauri stars (TTS). A motivation for studying X-ray emission of T associations is to understand the origin of X-rays and coronal activity. The large sample observed with the ROSAT All-Sky Survey (RASS) also enables us to compare different types of young stars. Other primary goals include star formation efficiency and the interaction of young stars with their intermediate environment (probed by absorption of X-rays). RASS detection rates are comparable withEinstein Observatory results: 43 out of 65 (66%) weak-lined TTS (WTTS) and 9 out of 79 (11%) classical TTS (CTTS) exhibit X-ray emission above RASS detection limit. A strong correlation between X-ray surface flux and stellar rotation indicates that WTTS are intrinsically more X-ray active than CTTS, because WTTS rotate faster. However, rotation is not the only parameter that determines X-ray activity. Also, we compare Taurus-Auriga TTS with TTS of southern SFR like ScoCen, Lupus, Chamaeleon, and CrA. A new result is that CTTS and WTTS can be discriminated reliably by their X-ray spectral hardness ratios. X-ray emission of CTTS appears to be harder, partly because of circumstellar absorption. Spectral fits give results consistent with Raymond-Smith spectra and emission temperatures of 1.0 keV for both WTTS and CTTS. However, we find that CTTS and WTTS have significantly different X-ray luminosity functions. Medians of absorption corrected X-ray luminosities (logL X in cgs units) are 29.701 ± 0.045 for WTTS and 29.091 ± 0.032 for CTTS. WTTS are intrinsically more luminous than CTTS, most likely because WTTS rotate on average faster than CTTS and are less absorbed. This paper concentrates on differences between CTTS and WTTS and indirect clues to be drawn from X-ray absorption and hardness ratios about circumstellar material around TTS.  相似文献

Over half the 3CRR sample of radio galaxies and quasars has been observed in X-rays with ROSAT pointed observations, and we present results from these observations, discussing many of the sources in detail. The improved spatial resolution of ROSAT over earlier missions allows a better separation of the nuclear and extended components of the X-ray emission. We investigate the relationship between nuclear X-ray and core radio luminosity, and show that our results support a model in which every radio galaxy and quasar has a beamed nuclear soft X-ray component directly related to the radio core. We report evidence for rich cluster environments around several powerful quasars. These X-ray environments are comparable to those of high-redshift radio galaxies.  相似文献

A sample of 323 Ultraluminous IRAS galaxies (ULIRGs) has been correlatedwith the ROSAT All-Sky Survey and ROSAT public pointed observations.22 objects are detected in ROSAT survey observations, and 6 ULIRGs aredetected in addition in ROSAT public pointed observations. The detection is basedon a visual inspection of the X-ray contour maps overlaid on optical imagesof ULIRGs taken from the Digitized Sky Survey.Simple power law fits were used to compute the absorption-correctedfluxes of the ROSAT detected ULIRGs. The ratio of the soft X-ray flux to thefar-infrared luminosity is used to estimate the contributionfrom starburst and AGN emitting processes. These results are comparedwith the ISO SWS ULIRG diagnostic diagram.  相似文献

We investigate the X-ray emission from the central regions of the prototypical starburst galaxy M82. Previous observations have shown a bright central X-ray point source, with suggestions as to its nature including a low-luminosity active galactic nucleus or an X-ray binary. A new analysis of ROSAT HRI observations finds four X-ray point sources in the central kiloparsec of M82, and we identify radio counterparts for the two brightest X-ray sources. The counterparts are probably young radio supernovae (SNe) and are amongst the most luminous and youthful SNe in M82. We therefore suggest that we are seeing X-ray emission from young SNe in M82, and in particular that the brightest X-ray source is associated with the radio source 41.95+57.5. We discuss the implications of these observations for the evolution of X-ray-luminous SNe.  相似文献

The X-ray emission properties of T Tau type stars and the basic results from the ROSAT X-ray mission are presented. The results of optical follow-up observations of ROSAT sources unidentified with known T Tau type stars are given. Surprisingly, some of them are located outside the classical borders of starforming regions, i.e. outside the dark clouds. Their kinematics and formation are discussed.
