岩石破裂时电磁辐射的机理研究   总被引:21,自引:6,他引:21  
本文提出了岩石破裂时的电磁辐射是裂纹尖端电荷随着裂纹加速扩展运动所产生的假说.应用断裂力学方法推导了岩石破裂时初始裂纹长度与裂纹扩展加速度的关系,并计算了其速度和加速度值.根据破裂岩石的电子发射理论,解释了裂纹尖端带电荷的现象.利用岩石在单轴压缩致裂过程中记录到的近场电磁辐射的实验结果,计算了裂纹扩展时裂纹尖端的电荷量和远场电磁辐射强度.通过对电磁辐射波谱分析的研究,得到岩石破裂时电磁辐射频率上限的估计值.最后对岩石破裂时出现的声光电磁现象在理论上作了统一的定性的解释.  相似文献

裂纹系微破裂集结和动态扩展的实验研究   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
研究了裂纹系的动态破裂,重点考察了裂纹系相互作用.选用大理石、玻璃为实验材料,将其加工成薄板状,并在板内预制各种不同形态的裂纹系,在单轴压下用可见光透视观察裂纹系动态相互作用的破裂过程.实验中发现,岩石的动态破裂过程和玻璃有很大差别,岩石的裂纹系动态相互作用后期是通过微破裂演化来实现的,而在玻璃中观察不到.裂纹系的不均匀应力场分布是破裂演化的初始原因.通过实验,给出大理石材料中各种不同形态裂纹系的动态破裂演化的全场过程图像,直观地揭示了含裂纹系岩石变形破坏的实质.实验显示了不同几何形态的裂纹系的破裂发育过程有明显区别.在微破裂集结时,周围的破裂部分闭合.因此,用二维模型描述的微破裂图像和实际有很大出入.为了消除这个差距,必须研究三维破裂.本文的实验结果表明,裂纹(断层)不能起到阻碍破裂扩展的作月;裂纹(断层)作为障碍体,和预存裂纹之间存在强烈的相互作用,使得样品的强度降低几乎一个量级.讨论了上述结论对于认识地震(包括矿震)断层行为的意义.  相似文献

本文提出唐山菱形块体在压缩载荷作用下震前应变积累和震时破裂滑动与稳定扩展的一个离散裂纹模型,它包括裂纹面的摩擦滑动和裂纹尖端稳定扩展两个过程。模型采用有限单元技术计算裂纹面的应力和变形及裂纹尖端的应力强度因子,并用库伦-纳维准则判断裂纹面是否发生摩擦滑动及用最大周向拉应力准则判断裂纹尖端扩展方向。模型预测与野外观测资料对比指出:裂纹模型能很好的表示1976年唐山地震震前积累和震时破裂传播的过程  相似文献

依据对具有较高微裂纹密度的筑波花岗岩和极低微裂纹密度的花岗斑岩 2种极端的岩石标本、在等应力速率的快速加载 (约 6MPa/min)和蠕变加载 (轴向应力保持在约 95 %破坏强度 ) 2个极端的加载条件下的实验结果 ,讨论了预存微裂纹密度与加载速度对多晶质结晶岩变形破坏过程的影响。实验中利用高速多通道声发射波形数字记录系统 (每秒可记录多达 5 0 0 0个声发射事件的 32通道波形 ) ,获得了岩石标本破坏前微破裂活动的详细时空分布数据。声发射的发生率、震级 -频度关系中的b值及震源的空间分布揭示出岩石变形破坏过程中微破裂活动具有 3个典型阶段 :初期阶段、第 2阶段和成核阶段。尤其是在成核阶段 ,还观测到发生率和b值有大幅度前兆性起伏。一般而言 ,在相同加载条件下预存微破裂密度越高 ,或对同一岩石加载速度越慢 ,对应的断层成核过程就越长 ,因此最终破坏的可预报性也越高。为了进一步探讨微破裂活动的阶段性特征及其物理本质 ,还利用亚临界破裂扩展模型对声发射数据进行了理论分析  相似文献

加载破裂和卸载破裂的焦散阴影区动态特征的实验研究   总被引:6,自引:3,他引:6  
以实时全息干涉计量方法和焦散阴影光学法,用有机玻璃试样直观、形象地研究加载过程和卸载过程破裂时的应力(应变)场、塑性区或成核区(阴影区)不同地动态特征变化.结果发现,在低应力时,预制裂缝端点先出现应变核(条纹密集区),进而形成焦散阴影区.这些核和阴影区会随荷载增加变大,随卸载而减小.在一定的压力范围内重复加载卸载(循环加载),焦散阴影区则反复增大缩小;但在高应力时,尤其在将出现大破裂时,加载和卸载的焦散阴影区变化是不可逆的,其变化也完全不同.加载破裂时的焦散阴影区由慢到快迅速扩展;而卸载时的焦散阴影区则扩展较慢,并且在尖角形前方有一圆形阴影.   相似文献

在研究地震孕育及震源破裂的问题时,用三维破裂来模拟地震破裂过程,比二维破裂与实际更加接近。我们设计了一组实验,采用几种不同的材料(玻璃、有机玻璃和大理石等)做成平板试件,在其中心预制非穿透裂纹,并在单轴压下进行了实验研究。 实验结果表明,非穿透裂纹与穿透裂纹的扩展情况有质的差别。非穿透裂纹的扩展并不沿原裂纹面延伸,而是沿裂纹前缘扩展出许多裂纹面,每一个破裂面都是复杂的扭曲、拐折的曲面。这可能意味着实际地震断层的扩展情况也是极为复杂的。  相似文献

本文用完整的花岗岩样品在固体围压三轴实验装置上压缩,研究围压和应变速率对岩样变形破裂过程、粘滑应力降、粘滑复发间隔及样品主破裂几何分布的影响。结果表明,加载速率较低时,粘滑应力降较大,复发间隔较长且分布无规律。加载速率越大,粘滑应力降越小,复发间隔也近似相等,粘滑事件表现出准周期性。围压和应变率较低时,岩石的主破裂会演变成两个交叉的共轭断裂面;而围压和应变率较高时,岩石的主破裂则演变成单一断裂面或入字形断裂面。本文结果对认识中国大陆板内地震孕育、发生及重复过程;研究地震重复发生的机制及影响地震复发间隔的主要因素都有重要意义。  相似文献

在单轴加压下进行了有预制裂纹的岩石板在裂纹扩展过程中声发射时b值的实验。发现b值的变化与岩石裂纹的扩展过程有密切关系,并且不同岩石介质的相互作用可影响b值的变化。通常裂纹扩展时,b值下降,但扩展受阻时,b值又有所回升,因此,有预制裂纹的岩石板在破裂过程中,b值呈起伏变化。  相似文献

本文讨论了利用破裂力学理论说明地震破裂的过程, 认为地震本质上是岩石在应力作用下的低应力破裂现象.它是岩石中的裂纹不断稳态扩展、最后进入失稳扩展的结果.分析了在扩展过程中应力和位移的变化, 发现任何将要破裂的那一点的应力都要由初始应力0升高到屈服应力y 以后才破裂, 破裂后裂纹面上的点的应力降到0.在破裂前和破裂后的位移, 都可由弹性力学方程给出.在破裂的一瞬间破裂的端点产生的非弹性位移, 则不能由弹性力学方程给出.它可以由断裂力学中的裂纹滑开位移公式近似给出.根据位错模式由于计算弹性波辐射场的位错量 D(, t), 正是破裂瞬间产生的非弹性位移, 所以用弹性位移公式来计算地震位错量是错误的.我们采用了裂纹滑开位移公式来计算地震位错量, 从而导出了较合理的计算地震释放总能量的公式 ET=yDS(y 为屈服强度;D为平均位错;S 为断层面积)以及估算初始应力值0的公式:0 =[Dmax/L4y/(1-) ]1/2(L 为断层长度).用它们计算了一些地震的 Er 和0, 分别列于表1和表2.这些结果比以往的结果要更合理一些。 结果表明:(1)地震多数是在低应力作用下(即低初始应力)发生的(约100——200巴);(2)地震释放的总能量约比地震波能量大一个数量级.   相似文献

对花岗岩样品进行逐次加载的蠕变实验,得到了加载过程中的蠕变曲线和蠕变破裂的全过程曲线.对加载过程中的杨氏模量、蠕变量、蠕变速率等参数用加卸载响应比方法进行了分析,认为有二种不同形态的响应曲线.在中低应力的弹性阶段其响应比都近似为1,而在高应力的膨胀阶段其响应比都随应力而增加.对应力不变时的蠕变破裂全过程曲线进行了分解,在蠕变破裂过程中,瞬态、稳态和加速3个阶段的持续时间分别为全部时间的18%,75%和7%;在加速蠕变阶段蠕变速率及其响应比明显增加.这一结果是预测蠕变破裂的明显指标.  相似文献

The Bridgman ring experiment, in which a hard rubber ring slipped over a steel rod was observed to split when subjected to a hydrostatic confining pressure, was repeated with Pyrex glass rings. Three cases were studied, in which (a) both ring and rod were unjacketed, (b) the inner wall of the ring was sealed from the pressure medium and (c) both rod and ring were completely jacketed. In the first two cases the ring was observed to split abruptly, with a single axial crack when confining pressure reached a critical level. In the third case no abrupt failure occurred, but a number of axial cracks were found to have formed, grown stably, but not penetrated the outer wall of the ring. The first two cases are explained by hydraulic fracturing of the ring. Observations and analysis indicate that in the third case the cracks started at flaws on the inner surface of the ring and propagated outwards in a stable manner. This case, in which a tensile crack propagates in an all-around compressive stress field, provides some insight into axial cracking of rock in triaxial compression and tensile failure of rock under radial shock loading.  相似文献

Mesoscale coherent vortices are numerous in the ocean.Though they possess various structures in temperature and salinity,they are all long-lived, fairly intense and mostly circular. Thephysical variable which best describes the rotation and the density anomaly associated with coherent vortices is potential vorticity. It is diagnostically related to velocity and pressure, when the vortex is stationary. Stationary vortices can be monopolar (circular or elliptical) or multipolar; their stability analysis shows thattransitions between the various stationary shapes are possible when they become unstable. But stable vortices can also undergo unsteady evolutions when perturbed by environmental effects, likelarge-scale shear or strain fields, -effect or topography. Changes in vortex shapes can also result from vortex interactions. such as the pairing, merger or vertical alignment of two vortices, which depend on their relative polarities and depths. Such interactions transfer energy and enstrophy between scales, and are essential in two-dimensional and in geostrophic turbulence. Finally, in relation with the observations, we describe a few mechanisms of vortex generation.  相似文献

By utilizing observational data from a 325 m tower of the Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) on March 19-29, 2001 and August 11-25, 2003, a comprehensive study was conducted on the vertical dynamical and thermodynamic characteristics of the urban lower boundary layer (ULBL) and its relationship with aerosol concentration over Beijing. Firstly, a comparative analysis was made on the gradient data (wind, temperature and humidity), ultrasonic data (atmospheric turbulences) and air-quality observations at different tower heights (47, 120 and 280 m). Secondly, a diagnosis was made to reveal the major features of normalized variances of velocity and temperature, turbulence kinetic energy as well as their relationship with aerosol concentrations. Furthermore, the characteristics of the ULBL vertical structure and the TSP concentration/distribution variations during a sand/dust weather process were also analyzed. The outcome of the study showed that under unstable stratification, the normalized variances of velocity (σu/u*, σv/u*, σw/u*) and temperature (σT/T*) at 47 and 120 m heights fit the Monin-Obukhov similarity (MOS) framework and the fitting formulas were given out accordingly. According to the stratification parameter (z′/L), the stable ULBL could be divided into 2 zones. With z′/L<0.1, it was a weakly stable zone and MOS framework was applicable. The other was a highly stable zone with z′/L>0.1 and the normalized velocity variances tended to increase along with higher stability, but it remained constant for normalized temperature variances. At daytime, the near-surface layer includes two heights of 47 and 120 m, while 280 m has been above it. The ULBL analysis in conjunction with a sand/dust weather process in Beijing in March 2001 indicated that the maximum concentration of Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) at 320 m reached 913.3 μg/m3 and the particles were transported from the upper to lower ULBL, which was apparently related to the development process of a low-level jet and its concomitant strong sinking motion.  相似文献

在沉积学中,可假设在相同时期的沉积层具有相近的物理性质和演化过程.因此,沿层传播的地震波和垂直于地层传播的地震波具有各向异性的特点.在纵波资料的处理中,考虑各向异性对逆时偏移的影响,通常假设介质的横波速度为零,这样可以得到纵波在TTI介质中的传播方程,但是该方程在实际计算中仍存在数值稳定性问题.本文加入横波分量可有效解决数值稳定性问题,并选取适当的横波速度减小对纵波成像的影响,实现地震波在TTI介质中的逆时偏移.实际测算表明,P-SV波的方程中包含横波分量,若假设SV的速度为零,则会导致方程的差分格式不稳定;若加入SV波,选择合适的SV波速度可以使SV波的全区各向异性和反射系数达到极小,并可有效的抑制SV波对纵波勘探的影响.本文的方法是一种稳定的TTI介质中的逆时偏移方法.  相似文献

Field measurements in the atmospheric boundary layer were carried out to identify the effect of atmospheric stability on subgrid-scale physics for large-eddy simulation. The basic instrumentation setup consisted of 12 three-dimensional sonic anemometers arranged in two parallel horizontal arrays (seven sensors in the lower array and five sensors in the upper array). Data from this setup are used to compute the subgrid-scale (SGS) heat fluxes and SGS dissipation of the temperature variance under stable and unstable stability conditions. The relative contribution of the SGS vertical flux to the total turbulent flux increases when going from unstable to stable conditions. The relative importance of negative SGS dissipation (backscatter) events becomes larger under stable conditions. The model coefficients for two well-known SGS models (eddy-viscosity and non-linear) are computed. Model coefficients are found to depend strongly on stability. Under both stable and unstable conditions, large negative SGS dissipation is associated with the onset of ejection events while large positive SGS dissipation tends to occur during the onset of sweep events. These findings are also supported by conditionally sampled 2D velocity and temperature fields obtained using the 12 anemometers placed in a vertical array.  相似文献

本文在实验室对所获取的东营地区层理发育的低孔隙度页岩和泥岩的各向异性裂纹演化特性进行了研究,获得了各向同性条件下泥页岩的力学与超声波响应特性,分析了应力幅度对于页岩声波速度和各向异性的影响.主要结论包括:(1)泥页岩在循环载荷下存在滞后效应,表明其经历了去压实或油气产生导致的超压;(2)泥岩和页岩具有不同程度的各向异性,随着各向同性压力的增高微裂隙逐渐闭合,样品的各向异性程度减弱;(3)分析了岩石韧度和裂纹损伤参数随压力的变化特征,相比泥岩,页岩各向异性程度更高,随压力变化更明显,其裂纹导致的附加各向异性更强;(4)分析了各向异性岩石的动态弹性模量特征,由于软裂隙空间的闭合,动态弹性模量在低压条件下都随着围压的增加有硬化趋势.  相似文献

New observations of fracture nucleation are presented from three triaxial compression experiments on intact samples of Westerly granite, using Acoustic Emission (AE) monitoring. By conducting the tests under different loading conditions, the fracture process is demonstrated for quasi-static fracture (under AE Feedback load), a slowly developing unstable fracture (loaded at a `slow' constant strain rate of 2.5 × 10−6 /s) and an unstable fracture that develops near instantaneously (loaded at a `fast' constant strain rate of 5 × 10−5 /s). By recording a continuous ultrasonic waveform during the critical period of fracture, the entire AE catalogue can be captured and the exact time of fracture defined. Under constant strain loading, three stages are observed: (1) An initial nucleation or stable growth phase at a rate of ~ 1.3 mm/s, (2) a sudden increase to a constant or slowly accelerating propagation speed of ~ 18 mm/s, and (3) unstable, accelerating propagation. In the ~ 100 ms before rupture, the high level of AE activity (as seen on the continuous record) prevented the location of discrete AE events. A lower bound estimate of the average propagation velocity (using the time-to-rupture and the existing fracture length) suggests values of a few m/s. However from a low gain acoustic record, we infer that in the final few ms, the fracture propagation speed increased to 175 m/s. These results demonstrate similarities between fracture nucleation in intact rock and the nucleation of dynamic instabilities in stick slip experiments. It is suggested that the ability to constrain the size of an evolving fracture provides a crucial tool in further understanding the controls on fracture nucleation.  相似文献

Summary During uniaxial compression of clay cylinders it was observed that the longitudinal velocity decreased as each load increment was applied and then increased under constant stress. It is suggested that the load increment induces an increase in pore water pressure thereby reducing the effective stress. The velocity is dependent upon the effective stress and it decreases accordingly. The velocity then increases due to the dissipation of the pore pressure.  相似文献

为了研究复杂应力条件下的深基坑岩石细观破坏问题,本构方程采用由应变空间导出的弹塑性损伤细观力学模型,借助有限元计算方法,实现了岩石三维破裂过程的数值模拟。采用细观破坏单元网格消去法,实现了有限元模拟裂纹扩展过程;利用位移加载来实现岩石逐渐破裂过程;数值模拟灰岩单轴拉伸及压缩破坏试验、双轴拉伸破坏试验和三轴受压破坏试验,得到其非线性应力—应变曲线和不同载荷阶段弹塑性损伤破裂演化系列图像;分析细观非均匀性对岩石宏观破裂力学行为的影响。研究表明,在复杂应力条件下,随着围压增大,峰值抗压强度明显提高,塑性变形明显增大。本文研究对深基坑施工过程中预防工程事故的发生具有借鉴意义。  相似文献
