The spatial distribution of the larval abundance of the clam Ruditapes philippinarum has been investigated at 65 stations throughout Tokyo Bay on August 2, 2001. The large number of small D-shaped larvae that were found shortly after hatching in the waters around the Banzu, Futtu, and Sanmaizu-Haneda areas indicates that spawning populations in these areas probably contribute greatly to the larval supply in the bay. Small larvae also occurred abundantly around the Yokohama and Ichihara port areas, suggesting that these port regions play a role in the transport of larvae into Tokyo Bay. The concentrations of butyltins along the Japanese coastline were investigated from 1997 to 1999, 7 to 9 years after implementation of legislation limiting the use of tributyltin (TBT) in Japan. Seawater was sampled at 0.5 m depth, and Caprella spp. were collected from Sargassum spp. and aquaculture facilities from 18 areas within four broad areas along the coastline of Japan, i.e., the Pacific coast of northern Japan, the coast along the Sea of Japan, Tokyo Bay and adjacent areas, and western Japan. Butyltins (MBT, DBT and TBT) were detected in 32 of the 63 seawater samples with average concentrations of 4.6 ng MBT/l, 4.5 ng DBT/l and 6.8 ng TBT/l, respectively. Butyltin concentrations in seawater from western Japan indicate "hot spots" even in unpopulated areas. Butyltins (MBT, DBT and TBT) were detected in all samples of Caprella spp., varying from 2.3 ng BTs /g wet wt in C. penantis R-type from Tobishima Island in the Sea of Japan to 464 ng BTs /g wet wt in C. decipiens Mayer from Amakusa, western Kyushu. The BT concentrations in Caprella spp. form western Japan were significantly higher than those from other areas, including Tokyo Bay and adjacent areas, where large scale industry and international ports are located. These results indicate that butyltin contamination still remains even in unpopulated areas after the regulation on TBT usage, and that the regulation governing TBT usage since 1990 has not been effective enough to concede recovery of shallow water ecosystems around Japan.  相似文献

采用聚丙稀酰胺凝胶电泳技术对福建平潭岛、浙江象山港、江苏海州湾和辽宁辽东湾4个海区菲律宾蛤仔(Ruditapes philippinarum)野生群体的生化遗传特征进行了分析.结果表明,菲律宾蛤仔4个群体的多态位点比例为62.5%~75.0%,平均杂合度观测值在0.274 3~0.338 7之间,与平均杂合度期望值相近;平均有效等位基因数在1.489 1~1.632 5之间,遗传变异水平较高;杂合子缺失不显著.比较群体间的遗传分化指数和群体每代迁移数发现,平潭岛、象山港和海州湾3个群体间的遗传分化不显著,而辽东湾群体与3个群体间出现遗传差异.聚类分析同样表明,平潭岛群体首先与象山港群体聚类,再与海州湾群体相聚,最后与辽东湾群体相汇.讨论了杂合子缺失不显著原因和群体间遗传分化机制.  相似文献

Surveys of the abundance and size composition of the ctenophore Bolinopsis mikado were conducted in Tokyo Bay over a 5-year period from 1990 to 1994. B. mikado appeared throughout the year, and its mass occurrence was observed between August and November; annual maximum abundance ranged from 19 to 91 ind. m–2. Water temperature seems to influence the seasonal variation of B. mikado abundance. Environmental conditions (e.g. rough waters due to a typhoon) and predation by the beroid ctenophore Beroe cucumis appear to affect annual variations of B. mikado abundance. Size frequency distributions of B. mikado indicated that its reproduction was most active in summer and fall but occurred throughout the year in Tokyo Bay. A sharp decline of the copepod population in August 1990 was probably due to predation by B. mikado which was very abundant at that time; its predatory impact was estimated to be 24 % day–1.  相似文献

为了研究不同低氧水平对菲律宾蛤仔(Ruditapes philippinarum)的影响,在实验室条件下设置溶解氧为0.5 mg/L和2.0 mg/L的低氧海水环境,以溶氧水平为7.0 mg/L的天然海水为对照组,研究了低氧胁迫对菲律宾蛤仔抗氧化酶的影响。结果表明:在低氧胁迫的时间越长的条件下,乳酸脱氢LDH和琥珀酸脱氢酶SDH的活力逐渐降低,而碱性磷酸酶AKP活力逐渐增大;对于相同的酶,对照组的酶活力高于处理组的酶活力;在溶氧DO越低的情况下,菲律宾蛤仔的死亡率越高。  相似文献

Dissolved proteins in seawater samples collected from a coastal area of Tokyo Bay, Sagami Bay and a location off the Kuroshio Current were investigated by one-dimensional sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) and high resolution two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE). Four to nine protein bands were detected in SDS-PAGE in the apparent molecular weight (MW) range from 12 kilo Dalton (kDa) to 49 kDa. The 2-DE technique distinguished 10 to 46 protein spots exhibiting isoelectric point (pI)/MW ranging 4.3–9.2/12–63 kDa. The elecrophoretic patterns were similar between the coastal and pelagic samples, as well as previously reported patterns from various pelagic areas. The close similarity of electrophoretic mobility on both SDS-PAGE and 2-DE gels indicates the compositional homogeneity of dissolved proteins in seawater throughout a broad range of marine environments. Proteinaceous dissolved organic matter (DOM) that was unresolved and smeared staining characteristics on both SDS-PAGE and 2-DE gels was first observed in Tokyo Bay waters in the present study and its possible sources are discussed. Although the two protein species, 48 kDa and 39 kDa proteins, have been identified as homologues of Porin P and low molecular weight-alkaline phosphatase of Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1, respectively, four strains of P. aeruginosa and two species of Pseudomonas spp. have been newly identified as the source organisms of these proteins using the N-terminal amino acid sequence data determined in previous studies.  相似文献

During nine field transplant tests in San Diego Bay (1987–1990), juvenile mussels were exposed to mean concentrations of tributyltin (TBT) in ambient seawater ranging from 2 to 530 ng liter−1 for 12 weeks under natural conditions. A total of 79 cages with 18 mussels each were monitored at 18 different sites. Growth and seawater TBT concentrations were measured weekly or on alternate weeks (biweekly). Mean growth rates ranged from 17 to 505 mg week−1 (0·2 to 2·5 mm week−1). Accumulation of TBT in mussel tissues was measured at the end of each 12-week test exposure and ranged from 0·1 to 3·2 μg g−1 TBT wet weight. The frequency of the measurements and the integration of chemical and biological measurements improved the accuracy of the assessment over more traditional approaches. Growth was significantly related to seawater and tissue TBT. The statistical relationships with growth effects were used to estimate chemical effect zones for TBT in San Diego Bay. Site-specific differences were distinguished by additional statistical analyses and consideration of environmental significance.  相似文献

通过2009-2011年5月下旬-7月下旬辽东湾北部近海10m等深线内的大型水母调查数据,分析了辽东湾北部近海近三年中大型水母资源状况,并探讨了辽东湾大型水母的生态类型。结果显示:辽东湾北部近海大型水母种类主要有海蜇(Rhopilema esculentum)、沙蜇(Nemopilema nomurai)、白色霞水母(Cyanea nozakii)、海月水母(Aurelia sp.1),海蜇和沙蜇是优势种。海蜇幼水母阶段主要集中分布在5m等深线以内的近岸河口水域,随着个体增大有略向深水或密度较小的水域扩散的趋势,仍主要分布在5m等深线两侧水域,属于高温低盐种类。6月份调查海区中发现大量的沙蜇幼水母,随着沙蜇个体增大,7月份调查海区中沙蜇数量大幅度减少。辽东湾海月水母在南部海域出现较多,2010、2011年在北部近海部分海域出现。白色霞水母近几年来辽东湾出现较少,栖息在盐度较高的水域。辽东湾各种大型水母中,沙蜇的生长速度最快。辽东湾海蜇幼水母、沙蜇幼水母的海区出现时间要晚于黄、东海。  相似文献

The fishery yield of Manila clams, Ruditapes philippinarum, increased considerably in the 1970s but has decreased rapidly since the middle 1980s on extensive intertidal sand flats in Ariake Sound (Kyushu, Japan). A survey conducted in 2004 on a 3.4-km2 sand flat located in the central part of the Sound (Shirakawa sand flat) revealed four dominant species: two thalassinidean shrimps (Upogebia major and Nihonotrypaea japonica), which are deep-reaching burrow dwellers with strong bioturbation activities, and two bivalves (Mactra veneriformis and R. philippinarum). All four species belong to a phytoplankton (diatom)-feeding guild. In the late 1970s, the Manila clam population prevailed in high densities over the entire sand flat, whereas its distribution was restricted to the lowest quarter of the shore in 2004. In contrast, the population sizes and zones of occurrence of the other phytoplankton feeders have expanded in the absence of R. philippinarum, perhaps an indication of competitive release. After establishment, effects of the thalassinidean shrimps on sediment stability appear to have further reduced clam abundances. Across the sand flat in 2004, wet weight population biomass estimates for N. japonica, U. major, M. veneriformis, and R. philippinarum (whole body for shrimps and soft tissue for bivalves) were 304, 111, 378, and 234 tonnes, respectively. Based on Manila clam fishery yield records from Shirakawa, the carrying capacity of the Shirakawa sand flat in the late 1970s was estimated to be two times greater than the sum value for the whole phytoplankton-feeding guild in 2004. It is hypothesized that (1) the amount of phytoplankton determines the carrying capacity for the benthic community on the Shirakawa sand flat, with both phytoplankton and benthic biomass at maxima in the late 1970s, and (2) the subsequent increases in competition for space have caused further declines in the Manila clam population biomass to approximately one-eighth of its past value.  相似文献

菲律宾蛤仔(Ruditapesphilippinarum)是重要的海洋经济贝类和海水养殖品种,具有较强的表型可塑性特点,不同地理群体之间存在表型差异。本研究根据实测数据建立了胶州湾与天鹅湖菲律宾蛤仔壳长(SL)与壳高(SH)、壳宽(SW)和活体重(W)的回归方程,定量分析了两个地理群体的形态学差异。由于其近似圆形的形态使得所能测量的外部指标较少,限制了传统形态测量学在其地理群体判别中的应用。本研究提出了将传统形态测量学和广义线性模型(GLM)相结合的方法,建立了判别菲律宾蛤仔地理群体的逻辑斯蒂(Logistic)回归方程。结果表明:菲律宾蛤仔的天鹅湖群体比胶州湾群体具有更高的SH/SL和SW/SL比值,壳形椭圆较圆且隆起程度高,"凸"形明显;基于GLM模型的Logistic回归能够快速准确地判别菲律宾蛤仔的地理群体归属,判别正确率高达94.23%。本研究为双壳类物种地理群体判别提供了新的分析方法和技术手段。  相似文献

Coral reefs throughout the world are under severe challenges from many environmental factors. This paper quantifies the size structure of populations and the growth rates of corals from 2000 to 2008 to test whether the Discovery Bay coral colonies showed resilience in the face of multiple acute stressors of hurricanes and bleaching. There was a reduction in numbers of colonies in the smallest size class for all the species at all the sites in 2006, after the mass bleaching of 2005, with subsequent increases for all species at all sites in 2007 and 2008. Radial growth rates (mm yr−1) of non-branching corals and linear extension rates (mm yr−1) of branching corals calculated on an annual basis from 2000–2008 showed few significant differences either spatially or temporally. At Dairy Bull reef, live coral cover increased from 13 ± 5% in 2006 to 20 ± 9% in 2007 and 31 ± 7% in 2008, while live Acropora species increased from 2 ± 2% in 2006 to 10 ± 4% in 2007 and 22 ± 7% in 2008. These studies indicate good levels of coral resilience on the fringing reefs around Discovery Bay in Jamaica.  相似文献

为比较短蛸(Octopus ocellatus)对不同生物饵料的利用效果,以南美白对虾、肉球近方蟹、菲律宾蛤仔和玉筋鱼四种饵料进行了饲喂实验。结果表明:1)肉球近方蟹组短蛸增重率显著高于其他各组(P<0.05),南美白对虾组脏体比显著高于玉筋鱼组(P<0.05),各饵料组肝体比无显著差异;2)南美白对虾组和肉球近方蟹组短蛸肌肉的蛋白质含量显著高于菲律宾蛤仔组和玉筋鱼组(P<0.05),肉球近方蟹组脂肪含量显著高于其余各组(P<0.05),玉筋鱼组灰分含量显著低于其他各组(P<0.05);3)南美白对虾组短蛸肝胰腺谷丙转氨酶活性显著高于其余各组(P<0.05),肉球近方蟹组谷草转氨酶活性显著高于其余各组(P<0.05),玉筋鱼组谷氨酸脱氢酶活性显著低于其余各组(P<0.05),菲律宾蛤仔组酸性磷酸酶活性显著高于其余各组(P<0.05),玉筋鱼组胃蛋白酶活性显著高于其他各组(P<0.05)。综上,投喂肉球近方蟹可以显著提高短蛸的增重率;不同饵料对短蛸肌肉的蛋白质、脂肪和灰分含量有影响,对其肝胰腺功能和胃蛋白酶活性也有显著影响。  相似文献

2018年6月使用渔业底拖网采样,对渤海大型水母进行了全面调查,调查船舶为"中渔科102"渔业科考船。本研究分析了渤海大型水母的种类组成、渔获密度与伞径大小,并对其源地进行了探讨。结果表明:本次调查共采集到海月水母、沙海蜇、海蜇、多管水母四种大型水母,其中海蜇、多管水母数量较少,各采集到一只。海月水母在渤海三湾均有分布,各海区伞径大小无显著差异且多为幼体(<10cm),密度高值区出现在渤海湾东南侧海域,可达38-221.21ind./(net·h),辽东湾海月水母出现于湾南,密度<5ind./(net·h),湾北未见;作者推测,海月水母在渤海沿岸可能存在多个源头,诸如:莱州湾与渤海湾交界近岸海域、河北近岸、辽东湾大连近岸以及北部近岸。沙海蜇在渤海分布较广,辽东湾为密度高值区,均值为(35.32±21.64)ind./(net·h),但伞径较小,均值为(12.15±6.52)cm;与此相对,渤海湾与莱州湾外侧海域沙海蜇密度虽小[<20ind./(net·h)],但伞径要显著大于辽东湾,最大伞径均值可达(33.86±7.40)cm;作者推测,沙海蜇在渤海海域发源地主要集中于辽东湾近岸,渤海湾与莱州湾,外海出现的沙海蜇可能源于辽东湾,随海流运输至此。海月水母、沙海蜇在渤海发生时间要晚于黄、东海。本研究结果可为深入分析渤海大型水母的种群动态变化、暴发机理提供基础。  相似文献

根据2013年5月和11月在厦门周边海域60个取样站获得的大型底栖动物数据,运用功能群方法分析该海域大型底栖动物功能群的时空格局及其与环境因子的关系。共鉴定大型底栖动物9门160科411种,其中肉食者152种,浮游生物食者102种,碎屑食者103种,杂食者48种和植食者6种,菲律宾蛤仔(Ruditapes philippinarum)和丝鳃稚齿虫(Prionospio malmgreni)分别是该海域春、秋季的主要优势种。总体而言,浮游生物食者和肉食者为该海域的主要优势功能群,但各区域的优势功能群存在一定差异,围头湾的主导功能群为肉食者和碎屑食者,大嶝海域以肉食者和浮游生物食者为主,而九龙江口和同安湾则以碎屑食者和浮游生物食者占优势。典范对应分析结果表明,水深和底温是影响该海域大型底栖动物功能群时空格局的主要因素,活性磷酸盐、底盐、有机质和叶绿素a等对其分布也有一定的影响。  相似文献

2021年7月末至10月初,位于黄海沿岸的青岛市西海岸新区琅琊台湾贡口拦海坝处出现大量悬浮生长的大型红藻。为明确该类群的分类地位,探究其生物学特征,对该处红藻群体展开了实地调研,并采集相关样本开展了形态鉴定和分子系统发育分析。该群体主要由一种红藻组成,藻体紫红色、圆柱形,质软多肉,高度可达20cm,不规则互生分枝,分枝基部强烈缢缩、顶端尖细;藻体主轴横截面观可见较小的含色素外皮层细胞以及较大的近圆形假薄壁细胞和分布在髓层中央的散乱、疏松的丝状细胞。结合分子标记rbc L和cox I基因的系统发育分析结果,该物种被鉴定为细弱红翎菜(Solieria tenuis Zhang et Xia)。与历史研究记录不同,贡口拦海坝处的细弱红翎菜群体缺乏固着器和繁殖结构,悬浮性营养生长,所在海域丰富的氮磷营养可能为其快速生长提供了物质基础,在生长高峰期该群体总生物量约6 t (干重),是一次局部区域性小规模“藻华”。细弱红翎菜的悬浮生态型和暴发性增殖现象表明该物种可能具有较强的环境适应性,其生理特征和潜在的生态风险需进一步关注。  相似文献

Dissolved and particulate concentrations of silver in Tokyo Bay estuarine waters and Japanese rivers were determined in this study. The dissolved silver concentrations in the surface water of Tokyo Bay range from 5.9 to 15.1 pmol kg−1, which is comparable to those in the surface water of the Japan Sea, but two or three times higher than those in the surface water of the open ocean. However, elevated concentrations of dissolved silver are not found in Tokyo Bay compared with those in other highly urbanized estuaries, such as San Francisco Bay (20∼243 pmol kg−1). In the Tokyo Bay estuary, silver typically exhibits non-conservative mixing behavior, which is a common feature in the other estuaries reported previously. Dissolved silver concentrations decrease with salinity from the rivers to the mouth of Tokyo Bay. Silver is efficiently scavenged by suspended particulates, as evidenced by the high conditional distribution coefficients for silver throughout the estuary (log Kd > 5.0 ± 0.6). The silver fluxes into Tokyo Bay via inflowing rivers and atmospheric deposition were estimated as 83 kg y−1 and 15 kg y−1, respectively. A simple budget calculation shows that the silver supplied from rivers and atmosphere must be rapidly scavenged within the Tokyo Bay estuary.  相似文献

In Tokyo Bay the concentrations of dissolved gaseous mercury (DGM) in the surface seawater and total gaseous mercury (TGM) over the sea were measured during December 2003, October 2004 and January 2005. Based on these data, the evasional fluxes of mercury from the sea surface were estimated using a gas exchange model. In addition, an automatic wet and dry deposition sampler was used to measure the wet and dry depositional fluxes of mercury from December 2003 to November 2004 at three locations in and near Tokyo Bay. The results indicate that the average DGM and TGM levels of seven locations are 52 ± 26 ng m−3 and 1.9 ± 0.6 ng m−3, respectively, which shows that the surface seawater in Tokyo Bay is supersaturated with gaseous mercury, leading to an average mercury evasional flux of 140 ± 120 ng m−2d−1. On the other hand, the annual average wet and dry depositional fluxes of mercury at three locations were 19 ± 3 μg m−2yr−1 and 20 ± 9 μg m−2yr−1, respectively. These depositional fluxes correspond to the daily average total depositional flux of 110 ± 20 ng m−2d−1. Thus, it is suggested that in Tokyo Bay, the evasional fluxes of mercury are comparable to the depositional fluxes.  相似文献

利用多变量形态度量学方法,对辽宁沿海菲律宾蛤仔(Ruditapes philippinarum)长兴岛(CXD)、旅顺(LS)、营口(YK)、盘锦(PJ)、锦州(JZH)、海洋岛(HYD)、黑石礁(HSJ)以及金州(JZ)8个野生群体进行形态学比较分析。结果表明:主成分分析得到了3个主成分,贡献率分别为40.21%,19.98%和11.57%,累积贡献率为71.75%。聚类分析结果显示,旅顺群体和锦州群体形态最为接近,而与黑石礁群体差异较大。营口群体的趋异程度最大,长兴岛群体、金州群体和海洋岛群体的趋异程度居中。长兴岛群体壳型最扁,贝壳较厚且重;营口群体软体部最肥;金州群体壳型"凸"型最明显,且质量最大,而黑石礁群体贝壳最薄。这些明显特征揭示了不同群体的形态差异。研究结果为菲律宾蛤仔的地理群体识别、种质资源保护与恢复提供了重要依据。  相似文献
