开发山区旅游资源 加快经济发展步伐

霍山县是一个山青水秀，景色宜人，蕴藏着丰富旅游资源的大县，有著名的佛子岭、磨子潭水库，皖西名山小南岳，现正申报国家级森林公园。大别山主峰白马尖、铜锣寨及古雅别致的文峰古塔、明代文庙等使人留连忘返。近年来，霍山人民在大力发展县乡工业和开发性农业的同时，加大了旅游资源的开发力度，旅游业作为一门新兴的行业，“九五”期间将成为该县经济发展的一个重要部门，本文仅就如何搞好山区旅游资源的开发进行初步探讨。

DEVELOP TOURISM RESOURCES IN MOUNTAINOUS AREA AND QUICKEN THE PACE OF ECONOMIC PROGRESS

Huoshan county is a famous place for its fine landscapes, Foziling and Mozitan reservoirs,and the Xiaonanyue Mountain.It has been applied for enrolling into national forest parks. The attractive scenic spots include the great lying buddhist, sleeping beauty, Beimajian peak, Tongluozai, the quaint Wenfeng Tower and Wen Temple of Ming dynasty.In the recent years the county enforced the development of turism resources in the same time of their makingefforts on township industry and exploiting agriculture. Tourism will be an important element of the county's economy in the Nineth Five Year Plan period as an ever growing industry.
