| Abstract: | The propulsive efficiency of marine vehicles has been investigated from the point of view of the effect of restricted waters of the propulsion characteristics. Model tests have been performed for both single-screw and twin-screw vessels. Also optimum propulsion data for modern sea-going single-screw merchant ships operating in unrestricted waters are presented for the sake of general comparison. |
