| Abstract: | This paper provides some information about geological, petrol-mineralogical characteristics of carbonatites from Huayangchuan, Shaanxi Province. These data show that Huayangchuan carbon-atites are the later carbonatite, which formed by the primary carbonatite' s magma rich in alkaline composition. The occurrence, forms, scale and distribution of the Huayangchuan carbonatites are controled by the multiple-cycle and multiple-stage activity of the deep fault structure systems in this region. The stable environments of the ancient swelling regions and deep fault systems where occurred carbonatites would provide possibility for carbonatite magmatism. |
