| Abstract: | This paper deals systematicaly with the stratigraphical geochemistries of the Middle De- vonian and its underlying basement,especially lead isotopic geochemistries of the lead-zinc deposits in the Xicheng orefield.There are two conclusions can be reached, 1.For the Devonian system,there are not regional enrichemnet strata of ore-forming ele- ments in this area.No ore-forming element had been derived from the Middle Devonian (ore- bearing strata). 2.The basement strata are characterized not only by abundance of ore-forming metals enough to form the deposits,but also has some conditions favourable to activation,migration and accumulation of ore-forming elements.Therefore the basement strata can be considered as main source beds of the lead-zinc deposits. |
