| Abstract: | Several commonly used turbulence closure schemes forthe atmospheric boundarylayer (ABL) are applied to simulate neutral, nocturnal and diurnal cyclesituations in a one-dimensional ABL. Results obtained with the differentschemes, E- , E- and its modified versions, and twoversions ofthe q2 Level 2.5, are compared and discussed. |
