| Abstract: | A classification of the observational data on NGC 2264 is presented. Optical, infrared and radio data for the Hii region are tabulated, and maps of the molecular cloud structure are shown. The observations of the NGC 2264 star cluster are also summarized. The role of star formation in this young region is briefly assessed. |
