Paleozoic and mesozoic paleomagnetic results from Morocco

A new, Lower Carboniferous geomagnetic pole at 4.8S, 55.5E has been added for Morocco and the Permian (31.6S, 61.7E), Triassic (70.8S.67.4E), Jurassic (63.9S,39.5E) and Cretaceous (60.8S, 61.9E) for Africa modified by the incorporation of new data. The Lower Carboniferous pole requires a re-interpretation of the Carboniferous—Permian path. The Mesozoic geomagnetic poles while not significantly different line up to suggest a small loop.
