| Abstract: | Based on the fact that the ability to detect deformation is different in various directions for a deformation monitoring network, a method of constructing a criterion matrix for the design of monitoring networks is propased by using the inverse eigenvalue theory.Then,an example of second order design is given to describe specifically the method. |
