| Abstract: | In this paper, we provide an overview on both major features of interactions between com-etary plasmas and the solar wind and the associated MHD models. We present a brief account of preliminary observation results obtained from the encounters of both ICE with comet Giacobini-Zinner in November, 1985, and 6 spacecrafts (Vega 1, 2, Suisei, Sakigake, Giotto and ICE) with comet Halley in March and April of 1986. Some cements are made. |
