| Abstract: | The soil arching effect is a hot topic in foundation projects for decades.But there are many problems related to it that should be given more attention.In this paper,several aspects of soil arches in foundation projects are analyzed,including the types of soil arches and the groundwater effect to the destruction of soil arches.The preliminary opinion on the problems aims to impel the soil arches theory forward. |
