INTERPROFILE CORRELATION AND SELF-SETTING FILTRATION METHODS OF ANALYSIS OF GEOPHYSICAL DATA *

Application of statistical methods of analysis of geophysical data is often helpful for the detection of weak anomalies against a noisy background. The processing and analysis of areal geophysical data by two such methods are presented. The advantage of these methods are illustrated with the help of two field examples.
