The Cooperation-competition Analysis of Rural Tourism in Suzhou City

The primary cooperation-competition partners of Suzhou city were determined from the aspects regarding geopolitics connection, regional linkage,area developing strategy,tourist behaviors and the nature of rural tourism destinations.The cooperation-competition analysis in the paper took the Around Taihu Lake Tourism Belt,and the Tourism Circuit of Yangtze Delta Area,etc.into account.Based on the analysis,suggestions on the development of rural tourism in Suzhou was proposed,which would include: implement the "Cultural Taihu Lake" strategy during the development of rural tourism,develop folk-custom culture in virtue of ancient villages,attach importance to major tourist source places,build up a rural tourism coalition around the Taihu lake,and establish a symbiosis mechanism to develop rural tourism.
