| Abstract: | This paper has presented the results of TEM studies about the unit cell para-meters, micro-twinning structure, crystal defect and lattice fringe image of grandi-dierite discovered in China recently. The studies show that the mineral structure is imperfect for grandidierite.The micro-twinning and crystal defect are the principal cause which leads to the mineral inhomogeneity.The results are new data unobser-ved by the optical microscopy and X-ray analysis for grandidierite. |
