| Abstract: | This paper introduced the geological conditions in various stages of geotechnical engineering investigation in a City high rise residential building construction, with a focus on comparing of the technical feasibility and economic cost in the selection of commercial and residential foundations. Examples of geological engineering are provided to warn that the technical personnel needs to pay attention to detail in geotechnical engineering investigation. |
