| Abstract: | The Yangtze River is the longest river in China and the third longest river in the world. The eco-environmental conditions of the Yangtze River are very complicated. From 1987 to 1990, a comprehensive geochemical investigation on the aquatic environment in this area was conducted. Natural contents and background values of 31 elements including Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, Hg, As, Co, Ni, Cr, Se, Mn,Mo, Fe, V, F, Sr, Ba, Rb,Ce, U, and Sc in the waters were obained. |
