| Abstract: | Probably the most significant breakthroughs in understanding the heating of coronae have emerged from a global electrodynamics approach. Although this approach ties together A.C. (resonant) and D.C. (non-resonant) heating mechanisms, the detailed physics of the dissipation process is still not clearly understood. |
