Abstract:Presenting an example of investigating geological hazards to ancient engraved rock-pictures at JiangjunYa , Lianyungang city Jiangsu Province .This paper introduces the application of optimization method of first-break refraction interpretation system and demonstrates its results in detection of very shallow minor-fractures in this area . System optimization is implemented in improving conventional methods and interpretation techniques . Field work utilizes small spacing and double-layout (unreversed plus reversed). Furthermore , analysis of wave - field characteristics and automatic quantitative interpretation are employed . Verification with the known data indicates that this method can effectively enhance resolution in distinguishing micro-fractures and accuracy of quantitative interpretation .
