摘    要:周期性是宇宙一切事物运动发展的普遍现象。从宏观空间--天体的运动,如银河系的旋转,太阳黑子的活动;到微观世界--基本粒子的运动,相同或类似现象在时间上莫不具有循环往复的特点。各种物质运动形式的周期性已逐渐地越来越多地为人们所认识,从昼夜的交替及四季的递变认识到地球自转与公转的周期,通过天文观测又进一步认识了日、月蚀出现的周期及其他一些天体运动的周期。

Abstract:Through the discussion of periodical changes of Glacial periods, biological evolution, volcanism, tectonic movements and so on occurring in the Earth’s history it is argued from the view-point of materialist dialectics that Earth’s motion has developed in "logarithmic spiral", being of function of the period of isotopic ages of the Earth. The periodical motion of the Earth has existed for two periods and a half plus 2 millions years, and the motion period has become shorter and shorter. The author of this paper offers a geologic scale of periods of Earth’s motion in which Earth’s motions are divided into three stages, i.e. astronomic, geologic and future. For the geologic stage a semi-period is set for each Era, and six Eras are named according to biologic evolution, namely Cryptozoic, Eozoic, Proterozoic, Palaeozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic. From the above-mentioned the author concludes that the Earth in another 4.1 m.y. would finally fall into the Sun and be followed by a higher stage of material motion.
