SP'波与我国地壳厚度

摘    要:本文讨论利用S波与它的反射转换波SP′的走时差来测定我国各基本台(武汉除外)附近地壳厚度的某些结果。所谓SP′波是直达的S波经地表面反射转换为P波,再被M界面反射到地面来的波。本文讨论了SP′震相的分析问题,采用适当的地壳参数,可以算得在S波的数种反射转换波中,SP′波的能量最大。对其它易与SP′相混的波也进行了一些讨论。

Abstract:The SP' phases denote those direct S waves which are reflected from the earth surface, these are transformed from S into P, and then the P waves are once again reflected up to the earth surface from the M-discontinuity. By adopting suitable crustal parameters, it can be calculated that the energy of SP' is much greater than that of other transformed waves. By analysing the records and travel time curves, SP' can be distinguished. From the difference of travel times between S and its corresponding SP', the crustal thicknesses near the seismic stations are obtained.
