| Abstract: | In this paper general trends of the land-use structure dynamics in the metropolitan region of Leipzig are shown. Specific problems of the space-time dynamics of land-use are discussed, such as the core-fringe gradient in the land-use pattern, the multiple use of land, function-location relations and the role of functional areas for land-use planning. |
