Abstract: | The complex character of population development often rises scepticism above the possibility of its purposeful affection. Unsatisfying outputs of regional sciences which understand the integrity of regions with difficulties force us not only to think about the effectiveness of applied analytical tools, but also the necessity to overstep the boundaries of the present paradigm of regional geography. Synergetics opens new possibilities in the study of complex regional processes. Newly originating integrity is not only the tendency to the innovations, but also the return to historical roots of existence, to traditions and realization of continuity. From this viewpoint, a forming population and social-economic process in the Czech Republic is evaluated and its specific features are underlined. |
