| Abstract: | China is a mountainous country,where the mountainous regions accounts for 66% of the toeal area. Particular mountain environments make China available for the formation of debris flows, landslides and avalanches, etc. Therefore, the mountain hazards develop and distribute widely, act frequently, and damage seriously.Since 1980s,the mountain hazards have caused huge damage.The initiative causes, distributive characteristics, and comprehensive countermeasures of the mountain hazards in China were analysed. |
