Abstract:This paper discusses the performance of drilling core and logging curve to analyze the reservoir lithology and physical characteristics and the seismic reflection features to analyze the attribute where thin-bedded sand reservoir is developed.Based on the research of reservoir lithology,physical and the seismic attribute,forward modeling is applied to select the most sensitive attributes so as to establish the relationships between seismic attributes and thin-bedded sand reservoirs.Maximum amplitude and peak instantaneous frequency are the sensitive attributes.It is inferred that there are two favorable thin-bedded sand reservoirs zones in northern and eastern Quele area as the result of the comprehensive techniques of seismic optimizing selection,statistical and regression in time domain and spectral decomposition in frequency domain,etc.This helps establish the empirical relationships of predicting the thin-bedded sand reservoir.
