摘    要:样品采自珠江口伶仃洋海区的5个钻孔。测量了各样品中之U,Th含量、比值及年龄。结果表明,这5个钻孔基底面上沉积之最老年龄距今超过36000a。

Abstract:Five drilling cores collected from Lingdingyang of the Zhujiang River Mouth which is the biggest estuary in South China had been analysed and dated,The results revealed that the oldest age of the samples that were collected from the basement of the cores is over 36000 yrs B.P., and from that time, transgression and regression had taken place.About 9600 yrs ago, the Holocene marine deposits began to develop, and the rate of deposition got to slow down from eatly stage to later period. The content of U & Th and the rate of deposition in each core are not same, which are mainly related to the position of the cores and the source of substances.
