磁扰的Kp类型与耀斑活动

摘    要:本文提出了一种简易而又具有物理基础的根据Kp指数分类磁扰的方法,它考虑了急始及主相这两种基本过程之间的关系。 对1936-1958年期间各类磁扰与耀斑活动的统计关系,进一步证实作者以前发现的太阳活动与磁扰关系之间的南北及东西不对称性,也有证据表明,磁扰特性与活动区磁场类型及太阳扰动产物在行星际空间的传播速度有关。 作者提出了一种用行星际激波在螺旋行星际磁场中各向异性传播的图象,试图解释上述统计结果。

Abstract:A practical and physically based category of magnetic disturbance by means of the Kp diagram has been proposed, which takes into account the relation between two fundemental processes of magnetic disturbance: the sudden commencement and the main phase.The statistical studies between the flare activities and the different types of magnetic disturbance during the years 1936-1958 confirm further our earlier finding of the N-S and E-W asymmetries in the solar-geomagnetic relationship. Also, there are evidences that the characteristics of magnetic disturbance show some relation to the magnetic types of solar active region producting flare, and to the propagation velocity of solar disturbance in the interplanetary space.A tentative picture of the interplanetary shock propagating anisotropieally in the spiral magnetic fields has been suggested to explain the statistical results obtained.
