Abstract:For railway-bridge abutment, the fill soil is easy to produce large different settlement in the course of consolidation settlement when the static state and dynamic state irregularity are all concurrent. It is because there is a stiffness difference in the linking part of abutment structure and soft embankment and the repeating action of train loading in abutment trail. This phenomena will become serious with the increasing of train's velocity and axle load. Therefore, it is very important to study the foundation under rail of high speed railway abutment. On the other hand, Subgrade compaction quality has a direct influence on the heavy load railway and its transportation safety. Because the need of the fill soil using in subgrade and the compaction standard is low as well as the checking frequency is little, the existing railway line subgrade technique and state is bad which has become the main weak aspect of the railway and threaten the safety of transportation. And the work which have been done is introduced in this paper and is used for reference of the methods. Firstly, based on the railway ministry project-existing railway line railway-bridge abutment subgrade and rail strengthen research, we have tested Shuo-Huang railway 170th bridge and railway-bridge abutment subgrade in field. The testing projects include geology seismic test. The results reflect the subgrade quality and problems behind this abutment. Then the countermeasures are brought forward to strengthen the subgrade aspects which need deal with. The plane piles and slanting piles are used associatively has a more obvious effect. The strengthening impact is also simulated by FE procedure and the results are satisfied.
