| Abstract: | The macroscopic and microscopic evidences of periodical stick slip deformation in an active fault were collected and analyzed. These evidences are beneficial to identify ancient stick slip events(paleoearthquakes) occurred in an active fault, and the behavior of active faults, it is also useful in forecasting earthquakes more effectively. |
