| Abstract: | The deposit formed in the volcano thermal-spring geothermal environments in Cenozoic. All the phenomena-geotectonical settings, regional structural settings, the volcanic magma and its geothermal activities, country rocks and their alteration , mineral components and their features of element combinations, which have the typical characteristics of the thermal-spring gold deposit, show the close relationship between the gold metallogeny and volcano hydrothermal activities. The comparison of the deposit characteristics and grade-reserve model of thermal spring-type gold deposit suggests that the geotectonic environments and the regional structural environments, where the deposit lies, are favourable for the metallogeny, and that the genetic type, the thermal-spring type is one of the main super-large gold deposit types in the world. |
