| Abstract: | Values of Richardson number (Ri) and the wind profile Deacon number ( ) in the atmospheric surface layer are evaluated from various experimental data sources. The relationship between Ri and shows some scatter, but gives agreement with the relations derived by the several empirical models available for both unstable and inversion conditions. |
