Abstract: | The spatial variations in the emission intensity, related to internal gravity waves (IGWs) generated in the troposphere when the air flows around the Kopet Dagh mountain range, and the regularities of these variations have been detected for the first time based on the photometric measurements of the spatial distribution of the atomic oxygen 630 nm emission intensity, performed in 1967 at Vannovskii station of the Physicotechnical Institute, Academy of Sciences of the Turkmen SSR. |
