| Abstract: | The usefulness of the generalized inverse of a matrix in the adjustment of coordinates by least squares is investigated. It
is found that by imposing suitable conditions upon the coordinate corrections a virtually identical variance-covariance matrix
can be obtained with considerably less computation. |
