| Abstract: | This paper considers the distribution of geochemical and geothermal parameters that characterize the heat and mass transport in the extreme southwestern flank of the Baikal Rift Zone. The geothermal model for this area is consistent with the model of continental rifts in which mantle activity is due to deformation in the overlying lithosphere. |
