| Abstract: | In this paper, a two-dimensional atmospheric meso-scale numerical model with a higherorder turbulent closure is used to investigate the interaction between the diurnal cycle of the atmospheric boundary layer (ABL) and the airflow over a mountain of finite amplitude. |
