| Abstract: | By comparing the typical spatial scales of ocean dynamic phenomena with the measurement precisions of Geo-3,Seasat, Geosat and Topex/Poseidon altimeters,we have summed up the orbit measurement precision requirement for the altimeter data being applied in studying dynamic oceanography. It is required that the orbit measurement precision should be a Yew decimeters or smaller for moot oceanic phenomena. |
