| Abstract: | Despite the 1967 traffic separation scheme for the Straits of Dover another loaded tanker was damaged in a Channel collision. On this occasion approximately 2000–3000 tonnes of oil were spilt and despite extensive and rapid measures to disperse it at sea, the English coastline was again affected. |
