| Abstract: | Foundations built on seasonally frozen soils have been used to investigate the effect of load on frost heaving and thawing of the soil. The characteristics of the effect have been revealed basically and the effect curves are plotted which can be used to evaluate the amount of the frost heaving and thawing of the foundations built on the frozen soils. |
