Magnetohydrodynamic free convective effect for an incompressible viscous fluid past an infinite limiting surface

Abstract:An analysis of the effect of a magnetic field on the free convective flow of an incompressible, electrically conducting and viscous fluid past an infinite vertical limiting surface, has been carried out. Also the limiting surface are unmoving, we have constant heat flux at the limiting surface, the free velocity is constant and the magnetic Reynolds number is not small. The effects of the magnetic parameter and the Grashoff number on the flow are discussed.
