Abstract:The scenario of water resources managemet been established based on monitoring data during many years in Gantang area,Tongzhou county,Beijing city.Some expected results on reasonable development and utilization of water resources and enironment of protection have been abtained in the last decade.The spray irrigation has been implemented gradually,saving groundwater 425×105m3/a.The amount of sewage water being trealed reachs 50×105m3/d, providing sufficient water for agriculture due to over exploitation of deep aquifer.The level of shallow ground water is goingup about 4m because of the recharge of artificial lake on the Chaobai river.The explored covered karst ground water is can be reserved,although the outflow is 5000m3/d the level goes down quickly.The tolal water demand of industry and agricultrure is about 2715×105m3/a,nevertheless,the rechargeble ground water is about 7000×105m3/a.
