摘    要:介绍了世界范围内大量实测与调查的点雨量极值,据此求得了世界最大点雨量外包线的新公式R=491D0.452,并对世界最大点雨量的地区分布特点、暴雨成因以及点暴雨极值在可能最大降水估算中的运用作了简要的说明.

Abstract:This article presents a large number of extreme values of the point rainfalls around the world and derive a new envelope curve formula for enveloping the world's greatest known point rainfalls,R=491D~(0.452)(R is the rain,D is the duration of rainfall).In the end,it gives a brief explanation to characterize the regional distribution of the world's greatest point rainfalls,the causes of storms and the use of extreme values point storms in the probable maximum precipitation estimation.
