Abstract: | A conceptual scheme and the theory of a new variometer (without a torsion system) with four precision two-axis tiltmeters are presented. It is shown that the variometer makes it possible to measure all 6 independent components of a second derivative tensor of gravitational potential with an error of about ±1 E and at the same time to increase the efficiency of survey work and also to measure all 10 independent components of a third derivative tensor of the gravitational potential. |
