| Abstract: | Thirty-sir pathologically and clinically proved small hepatocellular carcinomas were studied with masnetic resonance (MR ) imaging at 1.5T. The characters of SHCC on T1WI. T2WI and heavy T2WI with fat suppression SE pulse sequences, Dynamic gadoliniumenhanced FMPSPGR and delayed T1WI SE imagings were discussed. The authors emphasised that SNR of SHCCs are decreased with prolonging of TE, which is very useful for differentiating SHCCs from hepatic hemangiomas and cysts. Localied spotty or tubular hyperintensity fool on T2WI mosaic pattern. capsule and satellite lesion are important signs of HCCs. The tapical enhancement patterns of SHCCs are peripheral thin rim or irregular thick ring with reticular or nodular fort, but peripheral nodular foci is not subsequent fillingin on the delay T1WI. |
