美国弗蒙特州两种濒危鸟类保护成效研究

本文以美国弗蒙特(Vermont)州濒危鸟类游隼(Falco peregrinus)和潜鸟(Gavia immer)为例,反映鸟类与环境的关系,说明人类活动对环境及野生动物的影响,濒危动物的拯救工作应把环境综合治理放在重要位置。

THE CONSERVATION EFFECTS ON PEREGRINE FALCON AND LOON IN VERMONT, U.S.A.

This paper introduced the research to endangered species in Vermont. Peregrine Falcon and Loon were cited the examples to show the important benefits of integrated environmental conservation. If we want to protect endangered species efficiently, we need to conserve the quality of the whole environment to protect it from pollution and to protect the natural ecosystem. By reason of their position toward the end of food chains, carnivores are unusually vulnerable to disruption in their ecosystem. Especially disadvantaged are the birds of prey, that must roam widely to find their prey. Conservation of endangered species is not just for researchers. It must be solved based on the knowledge of the interactions between ecological and social systems. People should understand the relationship between the natural and human to make the harmony between the human and the natural environment.
