On the nature of the spectrum veiling for classical T Tauri stars in the near infrared |

| Abstract: | We show that the presence of a hot accretion spot on the surface of classical T Tauri stars allows the observed veiling of their photospheric spectrumto be explained not only in the visible but also in the near infrared. |
